2007: First Contact!

I made my first foray out into the new year this morning. The air crisp for a short jaunt to fill up on some gas and some coffee from the nearest gas station.

I felt promise looking forward to the new year. Things I wanted to achieve and experience. As the gas pumped whirred by (ok it soundlessly, digitally clicked by...I miss the way gas pumps used to whir by.) Remarking to myself one thing I wanted to be in the next year is less negative...I've had several parades rained on lately. I hate when people do it to me but yet I have no discretion in doing it to others. Part of that insatiable want of needing to be and to prove myself "right". Anywho...in to get coffee and pay up.

I think to myself..."I'm about to hear the first real words of the new year. They may be prophetic...I must make note carefully of what is said. I approach the clerk...

"Oh god!!! I really hate Seinfeld!!!"

...maybe the prophecy is on Wednesday.
