In A New York geek minute

So we’re taking a movie tour of NYC when our guide announces that we all know that Superman is from New York City. My wife looks over at my rumpled brow. Not kidding…I say “Superman was from…Smallville. He moved to Metropolis which isn’t New York in the DC Universe, Gotham City is.”

Then she gives me that look the look that only says. “No 37 year old man should know that and I’m reviewing my wedding vows for an out clause.”

I continued “Its of course common knowledge that the DC Universe is all fictional locations and Marvel Universe are all real.” I then realize I’m sounding more and more like the ‘Comic Book Guy” from the Simpson’s with each syllable.
