I posed this question to our proud owner here in the Hurt Squirrels building. I asked him when did Liz Phair go from never being heard on the radio to being in hot rotation at KTI? Was she selling out or was it possible that I was hip and cutting edge. His reply first reply was an unblinking "She sold out". I thought this was my chance to appear cool and hip and told him so. His reply and chilling… "Oh, please". I smirked...giggled a bit and then said "Hey!!!" Deep down I know that he's right. And it’s not even that deep. The few moments of coolness I have ever enjoyed I have fallen ass backwards into. I really thought I had more of a point with this post but its just kind of burned itself out....which seems appropriate given the topic. I'm Jared...uncool.
