Its not just the kids..."SHUT UP!"

I took my lovely wife to see "Runaway Jury" this weekend and after she sat through "Kill Bill". It was the least I could do. "Runaway Jury" a decent jury but I thought it didn't really utilize the talent it had (Hoffman, Hackman, Cusack). Anyway this is all sidebar. The topic today is that adults are just as bad as kids in talking in the theaters. I think I have a pretty good feel for the Radworld audience and the young, hip, respectful, crowd we are. So I don't direct this at you lovely lot. There was this middle aged woman, lady, fat broad. That yammered through the whole freaking picture.

"Oh Gene Hackman was much better in Unforgiven"
"Blah, Blah, Blah."

"I don't get it!"
...color me surprised.

These are just some snippets that I got throughout the whole movie. Even as the credits rolled she still was blabbing away. I hit my breaking point as I stood up and said "Shut up!" in a frustrated raised voice. Kendra like my own secret service shuffled me down the aisle before an incident takes place. So dear listeners heed my advice and you're always welcome in a theater with me. "Shut up". I don't care about talking during the previews...or the commercials...or even a comment during the film to the person sitting next to you in a low whispered voice. But when it’s a conversation. You're pissing me off! Show some consideration for those around you who don't want your insights on the work of Gene Hackman. Stuff a few more mouthfuls of that overpriced corn down your gullet. My brother in law has the experience down. We sit and chat before the movie...the movie starts and I forget that he's there. He even gives me the courtesy of a seat between us so we can spread out and use both armrests. When I get my millions I will run and old-time movie theater and I will walk around in a white tux like Rick in Casablanca. When I see someone yammering I will order "my boys" to pick that person up and exit them out the front door using their head to open the door. They will no longer be allowed in my theater. I predict a quiet attendance will rise after the 3rd expulsion.
